Can You Believe It's Been 50 Years!

Dear Classmates

We return to the site where we held our first reunion. On Saturday September 9, 2023 the Class of 1973 will celebrate our 50th reunion at the Club at Twin Lakes. It is hard to believe that it has been 50 years since we walked the halls of Allen High School. The memories of our pep rallies and football games, school dances, senior prom and classrooms led by our wonderful faculty still bring smiles to our faces. For one moment in time we will reminisce about those good times with special friends.

The reunion committee has been planning a most fitting celebration in honor of the 50 years that have passed. The Club at Twin Lakes will be the place. This newly renovated club is a beautiful setting that is perfect for mingling and rekindling those high school friendships. Cocktails (cash bar) and Butler Passed hors d’oeuvres begin at 6:00PM. Stations style dinner will be offered at 7:00PM, which will include a meat carving station, made to order Stir Fry, and an American BBQ station. There will also be a salad station as well. Careful consideration was given to respect all dietary needs and restrictions.

As the evening proceeds, music will be provided by popular local band Timewhys. A dessert and coffee bar will be available. The Club is a casual yet upscale venue. The committee requests business casual attire for the eve- ning. We have been working very hard to consider costs while simultaneously creating an event that recognizes our 50 year milestone. The cost for this extraordinary gala is $73.00 ($145 per couple).

For those classmates travelling from out of town and in need of hotel accommodations, a special event rate has been arranged at the Allentown Park Hotel, an Ascend Hotel located 7471 Keebler Way Allentown PA 18106. Call the hotel direct at 1-484-214-7677 for reservations. The property is convenient to Routes 78 and 22, 309, and 222. Rooms will be held until August 24.
